First year out of the gate, my ‘Author Helping Authors’ Project/Contest has been more successful than I had ever imagined, thanks to some of my favorite people, a wonderful group of  talented authors. These are the authors who submitted their most inspiring stories to the Tales2Inspire 2012 competition. You can meet them and get the intros to their ‘tales’ at, but please be patient. It’s filled with so much good ‘stuff’ that the page might take a bit of time to load.

The 2013 Tales2Inspire competition is about to begin, so put on your thinking cap and begin to draft your most inspiring ‘tale’. It’s FREE to enter and offers many platform building and discovery opportunities for talented writers. Check out all the details at:

If you think this opportunity sounds too good to be true, just place the words: ”Tales2Inspire’ into your google search bar and count the number of PAGES of references that pop up. It’s incredible! Beyond my wildest dreams – and I like to dream.

Is it time for you to catch the spirit? Flaunt your talents? Check it out and you be the judge.

Hope to meet you there,

Warm regards,

Lois W. Stern

About loiswstern

I was in education for just over 20 years when I unexpectedly pursued another passion and entered the world of authors and journalists. I have since published two non-fiction, full length books on different aspects of beauty, but also avidly endorse the confluence of Inner and Outer beauty. I have written feature articles for Long Island Beauty Guide and LI Woman, and have served as Editor-at-large for, the largest Internet site for plastic surgery and beauty needs. I enjoy researching what's new in the world of aesthetics & anti-aging and devote one of my blogs: to sharing cutting edge, hype-free information. I devote my second blog to my other passion: writing, collecting and sharing stories to warm the spirit and inspire the soul. To this end, I have created an 'Authors Helping Authors' project/contest, to create books for inspiration, the first of which is titled: Tales 2 Inspire ~ Beyond Coincidence. It is a jewel of a book, filled with inspiring stories and full color original photos and/or drawings. If you're a talented writer with one inspiring story to share, visit to learn how to participate. FREE to enter. All you need is the talent and perseverance to do so. Lots of positive platform building opportunities for the winners. Learn more at:

  1. Lois, I loved being a part of this group even if I can never find anything–my fault , not yours. Do all the tales have to be inspirational in a completely happy way or would you like one that is sad but has a very inspirational ending.

  2. And I loved having you as part of this group last year. You were a great help to me in several ways, and I am most appreciative of your support. As you know, I do not judge the ‘tales’ – all of you authors do that job, so it is difficult for me t answer your question. Sometimes a ‘tale’ that only receives a combined score in the HONORARY MENTION range is one I still admire, tweak a bit and plan to include in one of the Tales2Inspire anthologies. That author will still get credit for their story as the author and with their mini bibliog.
I just sent you a private e-mail with a bit more info.
    Warm regards,
